The Tour Ticket will give you an opportunity to go on a tour around St.Petersburg with us, combined with a day trip to Moscow, if desired, and follow the itinerary you have chosen. However, you won't have a chance to do these activities on your own or go sightseeing separately, as well as to get off the ship without a tour guide. There should be at least one representative of our company going along with you.

For the evening activities, if desired, many our guests extend our driver's services, he would wait for you outside of a theatre/restaurant/bar and take you back to the port at the agreed time.

For the Tour Tickets (your blanket visas) we require the following info:

1. All your names on passports
2. Passport numbers
3. Date of expire and nationality
4. Your birth dates
5. The name of your ship, arrival/departure details
6. Evening activities (if interested)

Please forward this info onto us, and we will forward your Tour Tickets onto you, when they're authorized. You shall print them out for each of you and bring them here.

HERE’S SOME HELPFUL INFO FOR DISEMBARKATION:

• Please print your Tour Tickets out. Each of you should present these of tickets
with your passport to the Immigration inspector

Important: The tour ticket is a substitute for the Russian visa.
This paper is extremely important, without it you won’t
be allowed to go ashore in St. Petersburg! Each person in
your party will hold his/her own

• After your ship has docked in St. Petersburg, you will be allowed to go through
Passport Control. Check that you have everything with you for a private
tour: your passport, individual Tour Tickets, an exploring spirit and your camera
to go along with it

• Walk up to one of the Passport Control booths and wait for your turn.
Present the Passport Control Officer with your passport, your Tour Ticket
And smile: If he / she doesn’t smile back – congratulations, you made it
to Russia!

• The Passport Control Officer will clear you now for entering Russia and give
you A SHORE PASS VALID FOR CRUISE PASSENGERS IN ST.
PETERSBURG.

• We do not have to herd you off the ship before the crack of dawn. You will see everything and
more with the personal touch to feel the city better. Almost
all programs start at 8:30 a.m. at your convenience, but we’ll reconfirm your
meeting time, depending on your ship’s arrival schedule.

It might take you some time to go through the Customs on the first morning, but no worries, your
guide & driver will be waiting for you a short distance behind Passport Control with a smile and
sign with your name.

Say ‘Good Morning’ in Russian (=DOBROYE UTRO). If you pronounce it
correctly, our guide will do the tour in Russian for you!

Important: Put your passports and tour tickets
safely away. These are very important documents
and you need them again for getting off the ship. We
will give you all the details for a safe and
trouble-free stay in St.Petersburg.

CRUISE SHIP AND FERRY TIMETABLE –
ST PETERSBURG PORT

Here is the cruise ship and ferry timetable for the port of St Petersburg. This information is helpful for cruise ship passengers to plan your shore excursion with us. This information is directly from the Official St Petersburg Passenger Port “Morskoy Fasad” Website, where you can get more information about the port, its facilities and services. Please note that the times are in 24-hour format and the dates are in Day-Month-Year Format..

If you’re not travelling to Saint-Petersburg as a part of the Baltic cruise, a visa
support invitation can be obtained either from the hotel or us, your tour operator.

We require the scans of your passports and the confirmation of the
hotel. After receiving an invitation letter, you shall personally apply for a
visa at the Russian Embassy or Consulate in your country.

Insurance

It is always strongly recommended. The modern new health clinics in Saint-Petersburg are certified by the major insurance companies in the USA and the UK, and they accept insurance as full payment, if in the rare event there is an illness or injury.

Money

The official currency is the Ruble. Take US dollars or EUR and make sure they are in good condition (used ones with marks are likely to be refused at exchange offices). ATM machines are very common, where you can withdraw cash in Rubles. Credit cards are accepted almost everywhere (VISA / MASTERCARD mostly). Traveler’s cheques are not recognized in Russia. You will not need to get Russian currency before departure, and in fact for cruise ship passengers there are few reasons to get it after entering Russia. Shopping is the only situation, where you may want to have some local currency. However, all souvenier and museum stores take credit cards.

Russian Customs and
Art Purchases

Art and antiques are popular purchases, but there are some restrictions. Original art work that is not contemporary needs to be checked by the Ministry of Culture, which will give you an export permit after verifying it is not a national treasure or over 100 years old. Antiques older than 100 years can not be exported, and an “export report” is needed for customs clearance, which is available from either registered dealers or the Ministry of Culture.
